You can practice meditation any part of the day. Whenever you feel comfortable and have some time, you can go for it. However, for some people doing late night meditation may disturb their sleep cycle.The reason why it is advised in the early hours is the freshness in nature, calm mind, no disturbances etc.,
If you are relatively free after returning from office, you can start your meditation after taking your bath and with loose clothing on. You can have a little snack so that you don’t feel hungry. Too much of it again will make you lethargic.
Find a peaceful place in your house where you will not be disturbed. Ensure that there are no children around you. Because they may try to mimic you or disturb you during your meditation. Creating space or congenial and comfortable environment for meditation is the basic and a very important step.
If possible, do some pranayama or breath observation techniques to calm down your mind. And then you are ready for deep relaxation-your meditation. You can develop it into a habit by practicing it at a fixed time of your choice.
